Hendecagram???

Let me start by defining the word hendecagram. It's a fancy way of saying 11--pointed star. I choise the name because all the other stars seemed to be associated with religions or t.v. shows. More importantly, the star represents one of my methods for doing the work of this blog, which is to review literary magazines. In addition to assessign the magazines on levels of continuity, quality, originality, and so on, I will also give each magazine a score on an eleven point scale. A hendecascore if you will. Why would I incorporate a numerical score -- perhaps the mose banal algorithm possible -- to assess the overall quality and magnificence of a magazine? Well, because I like scores. They make me feel good.

So for this site of eleven-pointed scores, I chose the name hendecagram.
